About Earthpulse

Earthpulse turns satellite data into a competitive advantage. We build AI-powered Earth Observation solutions that transform complex geospatial data into practical tools for risk assessment, operations, and decision-making.

Our platform helps industries such as energy, infrastructure, logistics, and sustainability make the right decisions as we translate for them complex Earth Observation signals into clear, actionable insights.

The role

As the company grows, we are looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Senior Finance, Accounting & Legal Operations Specialist to strengthen our internal financial and operational backbone.

This role goes beyond day-to-day accounting. You will help bring more rigor, visibility, and control across three critical areas:

  • accounting quality and close processes
  • more complex finance operations
  • legal and contractual coordination

You will work closely with leadership, support and supervise internal administrative/accounting work, and act as a stronger internal counterpart to external finance and legal support.

What you will do

Finance & Accounting Operations

  • Oversee the quality and consistency of day-to-day accounting operations handled internally
  • Support and strengthen the work currently managed by the admin/accounting function
  • Lead more complex accounting and finance operations, including: fixed assets and amortization, debt and loan accounting, accruals and adjustments, reconciliations and close support, revenue recognition across SaaS, grants, and projects
  • Maintain accounting quality control in Holded, including: classification consistency, balance reviews, issue detection and cleanup
  • Support monthly and annual close, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely execution
  • Prepare structured financial outputs to support management reporting and decision-making
  • Coordinate tax matters with external partners (VAT, CIT, Social Security, etc.)
  • Prepare and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts and monitor liquidity

Finance Control & Process Improvement

  • Maintain a clear close calendar and ensure required documentation is complete and on time
  • Improve finance processes, controls, and documentation
  • Reduce dependency on external support for non-strategic finance tasks
  • Help improve billing control and revenue recognition readiness, coordinating with project and delivery teams where needed
  • Ensure finance workflows are more robust, traceable, and scalable

Legal & Contractual Operations (Support)

  • Support contract and legal document coordination
  • Liaise with external legal advisors
  • Help maintain order and consistency across agreements and documentation
  • Improve follow-up, version control, and documentation discipline

What we are looking for

  • 5–8+ years of experience in finance, accounting operations, or a similar role
Strong practical knowledge of:
  • Spanish accounting operations
  • reconciliations
  • month-end close
  • accruals, amortization, and debt accounting
  • Experience taking ownership of more complex finance topics, not only administrative accounting
  • Ability to supervise and improve accounting/admin workflows with rigor and sound judgment
  • Experience working with ERP tools; Holded is a strong plus
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
  • High attention to detail, strong ownership, and ability to work independently
  • Structured, reliable, and comfortable operating in an evolving environment
  • Advanced English level

Nice to have

  • Experience in startup, SME, or scale-up environments
  • Experience in companies working with projects, grants, or public funding
  • Familiarity with legal and contractual coordination in growing companies
  • Experience coordinating with external accountants, CFO support, or legal advisors
  • Exposure to SaaS, technology, or data-driven businesses

What we value

We are looking for someone who:

  • brings clarity and control where processes are still evolving
  • can distinguish between what is urgent and what is important
  • is comfortable combining precision with pragmatism
  • strengthens internal discipline without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
  • takes ownership and helps the company operate with more maturity and less founder dependency

Why join Earthpulse

  • Join a mission-driven company working at the intersection of AI, Earth Observation, and real-world impact
  • Play a key role in strengthening the company’s internal maturity and scalability
  • Work closely with leadership and help build a more robust financial and operational backbone
  • Be part of a team turning complex data into practical business value

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
