New skills and interdisciplinary knowledge are needed given the numerous challenges such as unemployment, digitalisation, and green transition. The growing role of the space sector can provide solutions to a wide range of regional domains including agriculture, maritime activities, urban planning, air quality, climate adaptation, and sustainable development. Education/training is also considered a key topic for regional strategies and future needs in space products, as experts are needed for the public and private sector at local and regional level. NEREUS is a European network of regions, currently composed of 24 Member regions and 33 Associate members (including universities) and its role is also to update members and participate in the development of an appropriate educational framework that will support regional growth and development. ## The Webinar With this goals in mind, NEREUS organises on the  20 June 2023, 11.00-12.30 (Brussels time) the 7th infosession on education/training in the space sector focusing on the interdisciplinary character of space and its positive impact across other sectors supporting job growth and development. This info session will introduce key education players in the area of space and explore potential partnerships within but also outside the Network. In addition, it will present new education/training trends on the uptake and integration of space/geospatial data and services. The education/training webinars have the objective to bring together the university community and partners of the network interested in education/training, capacity-building, and skills development, create new opportunities for partnerships and setting the frame for new ways of cooperation within and outside NEREUS. ## Our participation ![NEREUS program](https://www.earthpulse.ai/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Captura_de_pantalla_2023-06-14_a_las_10_11_00.png) Juan, our CTO, will be speaking about Artificial Intelligence in the Space Sector. Join the webinar to discover amazing applications of AI to Earth Observation and discuss about the future opportunities of this amazing field. ## Share: - [Share on Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=https://www.earthpulse.ai/resources/education-and-training-in-the-space-sector) - [Share on X](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://www.earthpulse.ai/resources/education-and-training-in-the-space-sector) - [Share on LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/sharing/share-offsite/?url=https://www.earthpulse.ai/resources/education-and-training-in-the-space-sector) ## Related Articles [View All](https://www.earthpulse.ai/resources) ## [![Five takeaways from the Intergeo CDSE User Summit](https://www.earthpulse.ai/hubfs/evento-intergeo-web.png?noresize) News 07 Oct 2026 Five takeaways from the Intergeo CDSE User Summit Earthpulse Team](https://www.earthpulse.ai/resources/five-takeaways-from-the-intergeo-cdse-user-summit) ## [![EMOVA: Using shared mobility data to measure Low-Emission Zone impact in Barcelona and Genoa](https://www.earthpulse.ai/hubfs/EMOVA%20Low%20Emission%20Zone%20Geova-Barcelona.png?noresize) News 05 Oct 2026 EMOVA: Using shared mobility data to measure Low-Emission Zone impact in Barcelona and Genoa Earthpulse Team](https://www.earthpulse.ai/resources/emova-using-shared-mobility-data-to-measure-low-emission-zone-impact-in-barcelona-and-genoa) ## [![Greener business with space data: FIERCE funding is back](https://www.earthpulse.ai/hubfs/Screenshot%202026-09-23%20at%2016.15.19.png?noresize) News 23 Sep 2026 Greener business with space data: FIERCE funding is back Earthpulse Team](https://www.earthpulse.ai/resources/fierce-open-call-funding-earthpulse) [Home Earthpulse](https://www.earthpulse.ai/) - [Visit us on LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/company/earthpulse-sl/) San Juan de la Salle 42, 315 Edificio Sant Gervasi SG.2.08 08022, Barcelona [info@earthpulse.ai](mailto:info@earthpulse.ai) [For media enquiries media@earthpulse.ai](mailto:media@earthpulse.ai) [+34 628 772 669](tel:+34628772669) - Solutions - [Strategic Intelligence](https://www.earthpulse.ai/solutions/strategic-intelligence) - [Operational Intelligence](https://www.earthpulse.ai/solutions/operation-intelligence) - [Compliance](https://www.earthpulse.ai/solutions/compliance-through-satellite) - [Pulses - Custom Solutions](https://www.earthpulse.ai/solutions/pulses) - [Solutions Catalogue](https://www.earthpulse.ai/solutions-catalogue) - [See all solutions](https://www.earthpulse.ai/solutions) - Products - [SPAI](https://www.earthpulse.ai/products/spai) - [Earthpulse!
