Geospatial datasets are often inconsistent across countries, difficult to integrate into existing systems, and slow to operationalise. Without structured environmental intelligence, models risk overlooking critical predictors of accident risk.
Our Solution
The Road Safety Pulse delivers a structured, automated catalogue of geospatial indicators describing road environments at national scale.
Using the SPAI platform, Earthpulse integrates satellite data, topography, road morphology, climate records, population context, and environmental conditions into harmonised, model-ready indicators. These datasets are generated continuously and consistently across regions, enabling direct integration into core risk models.
Through joint validation with the insurer, high-impact spatial features were selected based on statistical relevance and business value — ensuring that only meaningful signals inform operational deployment.
